Made up of three main layers: epidermis, dermis and subcutaneous layer. The skin is the largest organ in the human body and is part of the integumentary body system.
After a close consultation, the skin type should be evident and all the products used should be according to the skin type to nurture it correctly.
Normal skin type is well balanced, not oily nor dry. It's not subject to breakouts or excessive sensitivity. It's less prone to early ageing and less problematic.
Characterized by a lack of suppleness and prone to irritation, dry skin readily shows signs of premature aging, including wrinkles and fine epidermis. It may have milia and split capillaries.
⚠️Attention required to diet, digestive system, over exposure to weather, high ph soap, hard water, incorrect skin care, hormonal imbalance.
A shiny appearance, especially in the T-zone, is a common characteristic of oily skin due to its tendency to overproduce sebum. Oil and debris build-up can lead to enlarged pores, blemishes, and breakouts. Prone to papules, pustules, commedones and congested pores.
⚠️Attention required to hormonal imbalance, poor diet (excessive carbs, fatty), poor ventilation, improper cleansing
Combination skin type can have a more oily T zone and dry otherwise.
